I used these snakeskins xl. Need for Speed Collectors Series – Includes Underground 1, 2 and Most Wanted (PC DVD) Designable . on a 10 x 12 nylon tarp with ridge line and tie-outs in place. It works great. No more trying to fold up a big tarp in the wind or in the mud. The ridge is on the 12′ length, the skins slide on without a problem. I think it would work if the ridge were along the 10 ‘ side but it would be tight. It is great to setup or take down a tarp in under 2 minutes.
Let me tell you something…Don’t buy a Hennessy Hammock without getting a set of snakeskins. These make breaking down and packing up efficiant, and stowable into a smaller space without having to wrap the cords and such around the bundle when you’re through. I just slip them over the top and bottom halves of my Hammock while it is susspended, untie the cords and stuff it in the sack. DONE!
